Woman’s ‘lucky’ dress listing labelled ‘trashy’ for X-rated description

A woman who shared X-rated details about a dress she was selling has been labelled “trashy”.

The anonymous woman, who purchased a red crochet style dress for her 18th birthday, advertised it on the buy-and-sell app Depop for 75 euros (£55) plus 5 euros shipping.

But shoppers were taken aback when they read the product description that outlined some very explicit details about the dress she claims she got “lucky” in.

It read: “Selling my 18th birthday dress.

“Only worn once for a couple of hours, would consider this a lucky dress as me and all my friends who have worn it have got f* in it.

“Dry cleaned as I got sick on it.”

Her listing has been shared on Reddit where it has been labelled “trashy”.

It was captioned: “I guess that’s one way to sell a dress.”

The majority of users of the social media site were either unimpressed or were confused as to why she’d decide to sell the dress and reveal all of the explicit goings-on that occurred whilst wearing it.

One said: “A picture of just the dress and less of a description would be just fine.”

Another commented: “Seriously, who’s the target customer for this kind of merchandise?”

While a third joked: “I’m sold.”

The picture was uploaded to the subreddit r/Trashy which has over 2.2 million members.

The group is described as a place for “trashy stories, trashy glamour, all things fake, plastic and downright trashy” – and apparently this dress listing fit the bill.
